The Kids Heart Challenge

The Kids Heart Challenge is underway, promoting heart and mind health while making learning fun!

Families can participate by completing Finn’s Mission, which teaches Hands-Only CPR—a vital skill

that can double or triple a person’s chance of surviving cardiac arrest.

  • Registration: Families can register at the provided link to get started. Those who haven'tcompleted Finn’s Mission are encouraged to start today. Sign up here.
  • Importance of Hands-Only CPR: Did you know that 90% of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests don’t survive? Immediate Hands-Only CPR can significantly increase survival rates. By completing Finn’s Mission, families learn this life-saving technique, becoming part of a legacy of lifesavers.

Incentives for Participation:

  • Recognition during assemblies: Each student who registers before the kickoff will be recognized.
  • Classroom rewards: The classroom with the highest participation or the first to reach 100% will receive a special gift! Additionally, their teacher will receive a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
  • School-wide rewards: If half of our school registers online for free, the school will receive a $500 gift certificate for PE/wellness equipment, and Mr. Morgan will get an ICE BUCKET poured on him.
  • Raffle: Registered students will be entered into a raffle to win one of three AVOCADO Squishies.

Incentives for Fundraising:

  • Buster Leadership Award: The top 3 fundraising students at kickoff will receive this award.
  • Pie Mr. Morgan: If the fundraising goal is reached, the top 10 fundraising students will get the opportunity to pie Mr. Morgan.

Completing Finn’s Mission earns students nationwide entries for two tickets to Super Bowl LIX in 2025, and for every 18 completed missions, the school is entered to win a $10,000 fitness equipment makeover.

Thank you for supporting our school and the American Heart Association—your participation saves

lives!
