Adriana graduated from the University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Ethnic Studies, and a minor in Education. She later received a teaching credential from California State University, Long Beach. Her experience in education involves over 10 years as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator for California public charter schools.

Adriana, her husband Scott, and two young daughters recently moved to Carlsbad from Los Angeles. Adriana, and her family, are excited to be closer to their friends and family. In her spare time, Adriana likes to spend time with her daughters on road trips exploring heritage sites and National Parks, or visiting Southern California’s amusement parks.

Her goal is to help maintain an environment where students, families, and staff are treated with dignity, feel valued, and are inspired to pursue their interests.
